The saga continues in epic style
5 stars
Significantly more chunky than the first book (this one is almost 650 pages), this is the second in Robin Hobbs' Farseer Trilogy. Like the first book it focuses on royal bastard Fitz as he navigates the worlds of magic, court politics and intrigue.
As he's now a young adult rather than a growing child, Fitz's thoughts, strengths and weaknesses are all somewhat changed from the first book, but it's all just as well written and there are plenty of adventures and excitement in his life.
