When the Tripods Came (The Tripods Series)

I liked this prequel better than the original Tripods trilogy. I can relate more to the main characters and have a better understanding of their actions than in the other books. The story has a better flow and is more concise. One of the few cases where an "add-on" to an existing story actually adds value.

Origin story of the Tripods. Interesting but only if you like the original Tripod series.
