Has a similar vibe to "A Simple Favor". A story told mostly from 2 opposing sides until a 3rd and more appear.
Not all filled with surprises; mostly everything is expected but is written very cleanly and the narrative makes it very interesting. Makes you want to keep reading to confirm your suspicions
