It really bugs me that Harrow has erased (?) her reality from book 1 and created a new one. These rewritten flashbacks, this Harrow-untypical vulnerable nature - all this is getting on my nerves so far. I hope that changes quickly.

This was the first time I read a book with such a strong military focus. I had a really hard time keeping the hierarchies straight at the beginning - who is above whom? But it didn't bother me in general and I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I am VERY sad that the sequel is not due until April 2024 (!). Nasty cliffhanger... :(
