Anna Mocikat is a versatile creative professional with experience in both the film and video game industries, as well as a successful career as a novelist.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, Mocikat spent most of her life in Munich, Germany, where she attended film school to become a screenwriter. After completing her education, she worked in the German film industry for several years, primarily as a scriptwriter, but also producing and directing a few short films that were nominated for and won awards.
Mocikat's passion for video games led her to expand her expertise, and she worked as a game writer in the German video game business for a time. However, her lifelong dream was to become a published novelist, and she eventually made that dream a reality.
In 2016, Mocikat moved to the United States and now resides in South Carolina. Her debut English novel, "Shadow City," was published in 2019, and she has since published two more series, "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Cyber Squad," with more planned for the future. Mocikat now works as a full-time novelist, a career she finds deeply fulfilling.
