Kadomi reviewed Winter by Marissa Meyer (The Lunar Chronicles)

4 stars
In the final volume of the Lunar Chronicles, there's a lot of stuff going on. Our intrepid band of heroes has arrived on Luna, the evil queen Levana is about to marry Emperor Kai, and we spend more time with the final fairy tale couple of the series: Princess Winter aka Snow White, and her guard Jacin, her Prince Charming.

Nevertheless, the whole series is entertaining, with likeable characters and the fun fairy tale concept. Of the four books, I probably enjoyed Cress and Scarlet the most. Incidentally, I also liked the pairings from those novels best. Especially Cress and her Captain tugged at my heart strings.
Verdict: 3.5 stars for this book, and a definite recommendation for the series as a whole, if you enjoy future versions of famous fairy tales with cyborg princesses, mutant wolves and mind-controlling villains.
