Kadomi reviewed Cress by Marissa Meyer (The lunar chronicles -- bk. 3)

4 stars
In the continuing story of Cinder and friends trying to stop the evil Lunar queen Levana, we now meet Cress, which is short for Crescent Moon. She's been imprisoned in a satellite by the queen's thaumaturge Sybil when she was 12, to hack and spy on Earth as the greatest hacker of the Lunar people, even though she's just a shell who cannot mind-control other people. Also, she's got really long hair. Third novel, third Grimm's fairy tale, in this case Rapunzel. There's a couple nice touches to it, with how close it sticks to the fairy tale and yet progresses the overall story. Cress' prince is Carswell Thorne, the rakish spaceship pilot, and they end up in the desert together, and the love story is nice. We also got a short look at the protagonist of the next novel, Princess Winter. My guess is that it's based on Snow White, but we'll see. Looking forward to reading it. It's a fluffy series for sure, but I am enjoying it.
