Not quite as awesome as the first book, as is often the case with middle books, it is still quite an entertaining and in parts fascinating read. Directly continuing where the first book stopped, we continue the story of Moon, the former solitary consort Raksura who is now a member of the Indigo Cloud court. Exotic, adventurous, very Jules Verne-vibey. Moon is still a bit emo as a character, but it's getting better, and the Indigo Cloud folks are dear to my heart now. Still highly recommending this series.
