This is a fun story about two disabled geeky kids working to solve a problem to a drought crisis that the Ozymandias Academy can't solve (and seems to be exploiting). Big underdog vs evil corporation/government and people coming together to communally solve problems vibes.
Mostly I wanted less sparse worldbuilding from this story. This is partially a story about the internet in some ~present time (trolls, "chonky", forums, "absolute unit", video streaming, Google), which is a little off-putting for me but might be fun for somebody else. It's also some alternate history where there was a war with seraphs and seraph bones are turned into wands, and everybody(?) can do magic of some sort if they apply themselves. The most detail is there's a statue of a seraph and Noah has "cherub cough". How did the world get here? What else changed? The world just feels too dang normal for …
