I read the original edition on purpose and the language is outdated when it comes to tackling gender and trans folks but never in a nasty way and despite that I am surprised by how well this book has aged
Ich habe auf twitter nach Texten gefragt, die helfen, mit Eifersucht in polyamoren und anderen offenen (Nicht)Beziehungen umzugehen und habe The ethical slut als Antwort bekommen. Die Autorinnen führen langsam an das Thema heran und das Kapitel über Eifersucht hat mich persönlich weitergebracht, würde ich wagen zu behaupten. Das Buch will niemanden überzeugen oder bekehren und bietet Denkanstöße, die in geschlossenen Beziehungen genauso funktionieren wie in poly*-Konstellationen. Die Kapitel über Sex sind sehr erhellend. Mich hat ein wenig gestört, dass sehr oft von einer offenen Zweierbeziehung ausgegangen wird und andere Formen des Miteinanders eher am Rande erwähnt werden. Wobei das Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist, denn das Buch ist wohl der beste “Beziehungsratgeber”, den es gibt.
