I read the first few chapters of this one, too. And now I really need to stop adding books to the currently-reading pile!

So far this one is a li'l difficult and I'm still looking for a tension driver outside of the weird framework. But it's also super evocative.

Dangit! As I was searching for info how to spell Patrick Stuart (I was too lazy to saunter over to the Fire on the Velvet Horizon in the shelf or the Veins of the Earth on the desk or to scroll back to the title page in the digital copy of this book) I accidentally read a huge spoiler. 🤦🏻‍♀️
