I like SciFi and photography. :)

Not feeling this one.

It feels unfinished and rough in a way, the more Howey describes the people responsible for the apocalypse and their intentions and motives, the less reasonable everything seems. IMHO this book does the world building no good. It's an OK read, nice-to-get some insights into the first uprising in Silo 18 but otherwise ... meh.

I liked the book, but its a shame how women are portrait (or not included at all) in the book. Page's Review on Goodreads highlights a lot of issues, and apparently these are no innocent mistakes either.

@gwenprime@bookwyrm.social i feel this! Also wished for a happy end but the ending is great as it is. Truly a masterpiece, even from a "modern" point of view. "Biochips" and "Mona Lisa Overdrive" are great as well.
