First book of the City of Magic Series – Shrill Dusk – felt like an interlude after Skulk of Foxes (the last book of the The Fractured Faery Series) but Brittle Midnight is just great.
It’s rather the mood & atmosphere than the story, Charlotte & Monroe are a sad Yin-Yang, trying to make their way in the aftermath of the Magicalypse that happened in Manchester.
