Pretty decent history of cybernetics and its major 'players', which is what I was looking for, but gets a bit lost in the sauce around certain aspects. Was somewhat (pleasantly) surprised to see Deleuze mentioned in this, since I've been really focusing on a lot of that stuff lately re:philosophy. This seems to really shy away from how capitalism has devoured concepts of cybernetics.. but I think that's maybe not the point of this work anyways.
