My third attempt at reading Detransition, Baby, and I'm glad I tried it once more. What a great book. De/transitioning is only one of the topics that are fiercely negotiated by the three main characters whose identities allow to take on different perspectives. What made it difficult to read for me / why I had put it away before was the hard-to-endure violence in Reese's relationships with cis men.
