One thing that could be better is the pronunciation part of the introduction. There is no IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) rendering of the sounds. Having API available would make it more easy for non-Americans too to learn the correct pronunciation.
However, it might very well be that the author has been made aware of this, for his video including a guide to the pronunciation does actually use IPA too. And that video was published later than the book.
