to be fair, this little cute quirky half-unknown book written during orgies and huge drug sessions in between a riot and a police assault, told a better story of a revolution that tons of more famous attempts.

it is a very fun and interesting reading. it is a playful joy to read it and you can easily do it in one session. it also really inspired me narratively because both storytelling and the language are uniquely queer. i would love to find more quirky speculative fiction like this.

it is really interesting how I ended up being sympathetic with jodahs, my perspective towards the ooloi has changed a lot over the course of the story. some very interesting thoughts on biopolitics and human nature (the "human conflict" especially) and an entertaining read. as it has already been pointed out by other readers the gender essentialism is hard to endure sometimes. i think ooloi is a pretty cool gender though ^^
