Content warning road deaths
Movement follows the journalist Thalia Verkade as she goes through a complete change in her view of transport and traffic, from wanting cycle highways and showers at work, to questioning how we think about and talk about streets and neighbourhoods. There's a pretty tough chunk in the middle where she comes to grip with the way that we just accept a certain number of deaths per year as 'just the way it is', and blame the victims rather than the system that created the danger. Particularly interesting to cover the Dutch perspective -- I've seen a couple of outsiders' perspectives (e.g., the YT channel "Not Just Bikes") that make the Netherlands sound like a utopia, but it's unfortunately not the case, and many of the pressures and attitudes that exist elsewhere exist there too, only modified very slightly.
