I truly and deeply enjoyed this book. Even when describing the most mundane occurrences and things, it can be read as philosophical in a sense, in a multilayered, multifaceted way. Rek’s writing (and drawings!!) is brilliant, very fluent. The recipe book is extra-yummy!

לקט חמוד. חלק מהסיפורים טובים מאוד, חלק… פחות. ואת אחד הטקסטים לא הצלחתי לסיים מרוב שהוא היה בלגאן לא ברור.‏

בדרך כלל אני מעדיפה לקרוא בשפת המקור ולא בתרגום, אם אני יודעת לקרוא בשפת המקור. לצערי, בגלל שיש כל כך הרבה כתיבה באנגלית, זה אומר שאני קוראת יותר מדי אנגלית. גם לצערי, אני לא יודעת פולנית, אבל לפחות תוצאה נחמדה של זה היא קריאה של מדע בדיוני משובח בעברית בזכות סטניסלב לם…

התחלתי לקרוא, כל יום סיפור אחד. אני כל כך שמחה שיש פנטזיה מקורית בעברית שנשענת על יהדות, ולא רק תרגומים או חיקויים. בתור דתל״שית, ובכלל, בין השמשות השעטנזי הזה מדבר אלי.

מכינה את עצמי כך שאוכל לסייע לזאטוטה במידת הצורך (איזו התרגשות!). נורא נהנתי מהקורס הזה כשלמדתי אותו אי אז בתואר במדמ״ח.

Having read Parable of the Sower (wyrms.de/book/199692/s/parable-of-the-sower) and enjoyed it very much, I look forward to reading the sequel, knowing the series doesn’t really end (that’s alright; every story is but a window in time, including our lives).
