Busy Doing Nothing

I truly and deeply enjoyed this book. Even when describing the most mundane occurrences and things, it can be read as philosophical in a sense, in a multilayered, multifaceted way. Rek’s writing (and drawings!!) is brilliant, very fluent. The recipe book is extra-yummy!

It honestly reads like an adventure novella. I even enjoyed reading the recipes at the end. Highly recommend.

Couldn't recommend this book enough. I really enjoy the philosophy of the rabbits, and this book was a very fun way to see how they live, think and generally execute on their desire to live minimally while still accomplishing something as incredible as crossing an ocean with a small sailboat. I also loved the small gems nestled away within the descriptions of their travel: tasty vegan recipes, great book recommendations, tips of how to use technology in a more resilient/longer-lasting way, and much more.

Ein Logbuch von zwei Leuten, die eine lange Reise von Japan nach Canada mit einem Segelboot antreten.
Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Aber das ist auch gut, denn so erleben wir quasi jeden Tag mit und erfahren von Gedanken, Ängsten und Alltag.
Gegen Ende wird alles etwas hektisch und bekommt Lücken, denn die beiden sind körperlich und seelisch ziemlich strapaziert. Aber wer mag es Ihnen verdenken?
Ich freue mich darauf die angehangen Rezepte auszuprobieren.
